Hall infuses the show with his trademark wit and authenticity making him a fresh face in comedy.
Featuring his captivating falsetto paired with his witty, idiosyncratic lyrics, Hall's music is self-deprecating and soulful, reminiscent of a blend between The Smiths and Prince. Underneath Hall’s tongue-in-cheek narratives lie alluring guitar and synthesizer textures, complemented by moving melodies.
In 2016 Hall relocated to New York City to craft his EP, "My Friends Don’t Like Me," which garnered attention online and eventually landed a placement on the Judd Apatow-produced Netflix series, “Love.” His single "Talk" reached over 1 million streams on Spotify in 2018 and was featured in a Casey Neistat YouTube video with over 10 million views. His 2019 EP, "Questions, Comments, Concerns," earned a placement on the final season of HBO's Veep. In their feature on the EP, PAPER Magazine said, “Henry's new EP, ‘Questions, Comments, Concerns’, is an aural explanation of his anxiety and its contradictions. It is an event that you, for once, do not want to miss.” Hall’s 2020 debut full-length album, Neato, is a poignant exploration of melancholy and anxiety infused with Hall’s signature ironic humor. The album received notable playlist placements on Apple Music, including New Music Daily and a feature on the Alternative Genre homepage. In January of the same year, Hall made his television debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, featuring a performance of "Alive, Annoyed."
Hall completed his second LP, "I Feel Amazing," while residing in London and filming Dinner With the Parents. This album, showcasing a darker expansion of Hall's humor and virtuosic musicianship, sold out shows in New York City and Los Angeles in late 2023.
Up next is Hall’s third album, "Succotash," scheduled for release in Spring 2024, promising a more stripped-down, introspective version of his sound.
