Lela Loren, Pedro Alonso, María Pedraza, Carlos Scholz, and Óscar Jaenada to Star in the Spanish Original Movie Awareness
Awareness, which has just begun production, will soon premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide

LONDON—March 8, 2022—Today, Prime Video announced that Pedro Alonso (Money Heist, El ministerio del tiempo), María Pedraza (Toy Boy, Élite), Carlos Scholz (Toy Boy, Feria: La luz más oscura), Óscar Jaenada (Hernán, Luis Miguel: La serie), and Lela Loren (American Gods, Altered Carbon) will lead the cast of the new Spanish original movie Awareness, which has just begun filming. Daniel Benmayor (Xtremo, Tracers, Bruc) directs the film, which will be shot in Cataluña, Madrid, and Castilla y León, and will be released soon on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
In Awareness we meet Ian (Scholz), a rebellious teenager who lives with his father (Alonso) on the outskirts of society. The two survive by running small scams using Ian's ability to generate visual illusions upon unsuspecting victims. However, things get complicated when his powers get out of control in public and two opposing sides begin to hunt him down. On the run, Ian will have to decide which side he will fight with in the war he has been forced into.

The original movie Awareness will be produced by Federation Spain, led by Juan Solá, Nacho Manubens, and Toni Sevilla, with Mark Albela as executive producer. A cocktail of genres —action, thriller, and teen sci-fi— featuring a talented international cast, Awareness promises an exciting and fast-paced formula for Prime Video viewers.
