Before joining Prime Video, Schwartzstein was part of the founding team at the 2020 iteration of the XFL. He oversaw the creation of the XFL rule book, the player/coach compensation model, and on field technology. Before helping to create a football league from scratch, Schwartzstein was a captain of the Stanford Football team. He was 2^nd team All-Pac 12 and started 27 games with a 23-4 record throughout his career, culminating in a 2012 Pac-12 and 2013 Rose Bowl Game Championship.
