Josette Simon OBE is a highly distinguished actor who has featured on the British stage and screen for many years. Her most recent screen appearances include Netflix’s The Witcher and also feature films Pokémon: Detective Pikachu and DC Entertainment’s Wonder Woman. Other television appearances include Queens of Mystery, Nightflyers, Jägarna, Zapped, The Split and NW. Over the years, she has also featured in some of British television’s hugely popular crime dramas, including Broadchurch, Death in Paradise, Suspects, Silent Witness, Law & Order, Spooks, Poirot, Lewis, Midsomer Murders and Kavanagh QC amongst others.
Simon is also an acclaimed theatre performer and has played leading roles in some of the UK’s most iconic stages. Most recently, she performed

Other RSC productions include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Don Carlos, Measure for Measure, Love Labour’s Lost, The Merchant of Venice, Golden Girls, The Party, Macbeth, Peer Gynt and more. Other West End credits include The Vagina Monologues (Old Vic Theatre), The Maids (Donmar Warehouse), The White Devil and After the Fall (both Royal National Theatre), the latter earned her the Laurence Olivier Award, London Theatre Award, Evening Standard Award, Drama Circle Award and Critics Circle Award for Best Actress.
In 2000 Simon was awarded her OBE for services to drama.
