The son of a Navy Seal, Josh Plasse is an actor, writer, and producer born in Virginia Beach, Virginia. After winning the 2012 Golden Gloves Boxing Championship, he attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he studied theater with Joseph Obermueller. After moving to Hollywood, he immediately guest-Starred on hit shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, American Horror Story, Grown-ish, and more. He was later cast in a recurring role of Wes, an audience favorite in the Paramount+ revival of the hit series iCARLY, starring Miranda Cosgrove. In 2021, Josh produced his first feature film, The Resurrection of Charles Manson (XYZ Films), staring Frank Grillo.

Josh will next be seen as series regular “Luke Baxter” in the upcoming MGM TV series The Baxters based off the best-selling novels. His film-work will showcase him both on-screen and off this year in the TIFF favorite Wildflower, starring opposite Kiernan Shipka, Brad Garret, Jean Smart and Charlie Plummer. The film was acquired by HULU and is currently streaming on the platform.
Most recently, Josh wrapped production on his film Ride, starring Annabeth Gish. Forrie Smith, and C. Thomas Howell. He wrote and produced the film as well as starred as the male lead. Also up next for Josh is a recurring role on the Tyler Perry produced series All the Queens Men.
Along with his multi-hyphenate skills in the film and television world, Josh’s debut novel “Dust” is currently in development with a major publication. He is also active in many sports, but continues to compete in MMA and Brazilian Jiu Jitzu. He’s also an avid whiskey lover.
