Daughter of Philip K. Dick, Isa Dick Hackett is the founder and CEO of Electric Shepherd Productions, LLC. The company is dedicated to the stewardship and adaptation of the Philip K. Dick library, which she jointly owns with sister Laura Leslie and their brother Christopher Dick, and she serves as Trustee for the Philip K. Dick Trust.

Ms. Hackett served as an Executive Producer on The Adjustment Bureau (2011), based on Philip K. Dick’s short story The Adjustment Team. She is also credited for her work on Richard Linklater’s adaptation of A Scanner Darkly (2006), and is serving as a producer on Ubik, currently in development. Other television projects for which she’s currently serving as Executive Producer include Electric Dreams, an anthology series based on Dick’s short stories, in partnership with Bryan Cranston, Ron Moore and Michael Dinner, commissioned by Sony and Channel 4.
