Born in Warsaw, Poland, in 1968, Greg Zglinski studied pantomime and acting in Zurich, Switzerland and languages in Australia and France. He graduated in 1996 from the film directing department at the National Film School in Lodz under the artistic supervision of Krzysztof Kieslowski.
Greg's Swiss-Belgian debut feature One Long Winter Without Fire won various awards at international film festivals, including at the 61st Venice Film Festival in 2004 and was also the Swiss candidate for the Oscar in 2005. He directed and co-created the multi-award-winning television series The Londoners in 2008/9, the well-received crime series Paradoks in 2012 and The Crime in 2014, the first TV production for AXN in Central Europe. In 2015, he directed the TV feature film Anna's Time in Switzerland. The following year Zglinski made a Swiss-Austrian-Polish cinematic feature film Animals, which debuted its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in February 2017.
Greg's other film and television credits include The Knie Dynasty, Pitbull, For Good and For Bad Times, On His Resemblance and the upcoming film Physiker. He is a member of the Polish and Swiss Film Academy and is a composer and former guitarist and bassist.
