Recently Carr was seen on the well-received HBO MAX limited series Trigonometry (creator Effie Woods) as one of the three leads. He was seen in the Amazon Original series Modern Love opposite Anne Hathaway and the feature 21 Bridges, opposite JK Simmons and the late Chadwick Boseman. Carr gained a lot of industry interest by starring as the self-absorbed pimp C.C. on HBO's The Deuce. Before being cast in The Deuce, Carr played the title role of Buddy Bolden in the feature Bolden and landed the key role of singer Jack Ross on Downton Abbey.
A graduate from LAMDA, Carr was snapped up by the Royal National Theatre to play the lead in the play Earthquakes In London and starred in the highly commercial series Death In Paradise.
