Will Brittain has two films making their word premiere at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival: Bridget Savage Cole & Danielle Krudy’s BLOW THE MAN DOWN and Lara Gallagher’s CLEMENTINE. He recently starred with Idina Menzel in the prestigious Roundabout Theatre’s production of SKINTIGHT. He received rave reviews for his first-time Off-Broadway performance and “[gave] not just a brilliantly funny performance, but one that succeeds in injecting a character made to be purposefully vacant with complexity” (The Observer). Brittain also recently finished the Eli Roth-produced horror film HAUNT for directors Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.
Brittain’s breakout performance came starring in the SXSW & Sundance festival hit A TEACHER. He also starred in Richard Linklater’s baseball ensemble EVERYBODY WANTS SOME!! and had a pivotal role in the big budget Warner Brothers feature KONG: SKULL ISLAND. He previously starred in director Michael Curtis Johnson’s gritty, true-crime drama SAVAGE YOUTH, which premiered at the 2018 Slamdance Film Festival and for which he won “Best Actor” at the Victoria Texas Indie Film Festival. His other film credits include the indie comedy THE DIVORCE PARTY, Frederick Cipoletti’s DESOLATE, and the title role in Tim Disney’s wildly imaginative WILLIAM. On television, Brittain can be seen on USA’s “Colony.”
