    Daniel Iribarren is a French-American sound editor and sound designer currently based in Berlin. His proficiency in French, Spanish, English and German has helped make him an in-demand foreign-language dialogue specialist. Iribarren’s many notable film credits include Kevin Macdonald’s The Last King of Scotland, Uli Edel’s The Baader Meinhof Complex, Colm McCarthy’s The Girl with All the Gifts and Ron Howard’s Rush. For television, he worked on the acclaimed Netflix projects “Unorthodox” and “Dark.” Most recently, he served as ADR supervisor on Hüseyin Tabak’s Gipsy Queen, a festival favorite, and Dominik Moll’s Only the Animals, which received a number of international award nominations.  Iribarren was born in San Francisco and began his career working in basement studios as a tape operator. He went on to develop his engineering skills in New York, London and Frankfurt, where in 1990 he became an in-house engineer and producer for the popular music label Logic Records. After returning briefly to San Francisco to work for technology startups as an audio specialist, he settled in Berlin in 2002 to pursue his motion-picture industry career.
