Usher Jr. is an American actor from Maryland which he calls “DMV”. Now living in the Los Angeles area with his family, where Usher Jr. attended a home school program allowing him the freedom to pursue his acting career and a love for cooking. Usher Jr.’s off-stage acting career began 2005 with a co-star television role on Without A Trace. With that, he began landing other co-star and guest-star roles on other popular television shows such as Hannah Montana, Lincoln Heights, Numb3rs, The Mentalist, Criminal Minds and Summer Camp. His first leading role in a television series came in 2012 when he landed the role of Lyle Hugginson on Cartoon Network’s Level Up.
In 2014, Usher Jr. had a major jump in his television career with the leading role of Cam Calloway on the Starz hit show, Survivor’s Remorse. His television career continued with the Amazon Original series; The Boys, as A-Train in 2019, and will release its 3rd season in June 2022. In 2020, Usher Jr. started in the hit series MacGyver as Vincent Boulee. Usher Jr. mostly recent starred on the The Tales of the walking dead as Davon, which will release in 2022. Usher Jr. has also landed multiple voiceover roles, such as Seal Team, Robot Chicken, G.I. Joe: Renegades, Teenage and more.
Usher Jr.’s filmography career has been equally as impressive. In 2010, he starred in Beautiful Boy as a young basketball star. In 2011, Usher Jr. starred in the Level Up movie as Lyle Hugginson. In 2013, he starred in Inappropriate Comedy as Jamal. In 2014, Usher Jr. starred in When the Game Stands Tall as Tayshon Lanear.
In 2016, Usher Jr. starred in Independence Day: Resurgence as Dylan Hiller and in Almost Christmas as Evan Meyers. In 2018, Usher Jr. starred in and executive produced Ride as James and starred in and produced Stronghold as Lil Maniac. In 2018, Usher Jr. also wrote and produced A Father’s Love. In 2019, Usher Jr. starred in Shaft as John ‘JJ’ Shaft Jr. In 2020, Usher Jr. starred in The Banker as Tony Jackson and in Dangerous Lies, as Adam Kettner. In 2021, Usher Jr. starred in Paramount film, Something’s Wrong with Rose which will premiere in 2022.
