Karen Fukuhara stars as Kimiko in the Emmy-nominated Amazon original series The Boys.
Fukuhara is best known for her role as deadly assassin Katana in David Ayer’s Suicide Squad opposite Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Will Smith for Warner Bros/DC Universe. She then went on to star in Joe Still’s independent film Stray, opposite Christine Woods, and will be seen in David Leitch’s upcoming Sony film Bullet Train opposite Brad Pitt, Sandra Bullock and Zazie Beetz. In animation, Fukuhara most notably voices the characters of Glimmer in the Netflix series She-Ra and the Princess of Power and Kipo Oak on Netflix’s Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts.

Fukuhara got her start as a bilingual international host for the TV show, Disney’s Movie Surfer, in which she introduced the latest Disney movies to Japanese viewers for almost six years. She then became a sports reporter for NHK Japan Broadcasting Corporation, the largest public network in Japan.
Fukuhara currently resides in Los Angeles and is bilingual in Japanese and English.
